Hi,
One feature that I miss from Lightroom is the ability to display a before
and after image side by side. I find it difficult to judge the accumulative
effect of any applied filters otherwise. Could Darktable support this at
all? I think I could give up Lightroom altogether if it did!
You have the snapshot button:

Ah, I hadn't discovered that. Useful, but I think I'd still prefer a dual
view though. So I can see the entire changes without moving a slider.
I also don't use often this feature.

My wishes would be something like the light panel of digikam, in
lightable mode, it's very convenient for editing as it also to compare a
minimum of two pictures and have zoom 100% synchronisation between them
:)

You could try the following: (1.1-rc or git master)

Select the two or more pictures to compare.

Press and hold Z

Use mouse scroll wheel or arrow keys to switch between images.

Best regards,

Christian

nice, I'll try this this evening. Thought 100% zoom is still not
possible in lighttable, right?

Hiya
You could duplicate the image , edit, then view them zoomed up in Lightable
mode too....
You can't view side-by-side two pictures with 100% zoom in lighttable
(or i'm missing some shortcut?).

I loved this when I was using digikam:

But I prefer to miss this feature and use DT now :)
